End of service for Adobe Story (Ingles)

Adobe will stop the Adobe Story CC service from January 22, 2019. Both Adobe Story CC and the Adobe Story CC (Classic) will be discontinued. The Adobe Story CC offline application will also cease to work beyond the end-of-service date. Adobe encourages customers to download their data and migrate to other systems before January 22, 2019. Detailed how-to information and assistance is available. Customers' data will be retained by Adobe until January 22, 2019, after which date the data will be deleted. Data retention is for the sole purpose of allowing customers to export their data and transfer to another platform.

Export data from Adobe Story CC and Adobe Story CC (Classic)

You can save individual documents to disk (File > Save To Disk). The document is saved as an STDOC file that you can also convert into an XML file.

Use the following steps to generate an XML file:

  1. Open the document in the application and select File > Save To Disk.
  2. Once the STDOC file is saved on your disk, change the file extension from .stdoc to .zip.
  3. Extract the zip file (Mac - Double click the file; Win - Right click and extract).
  4. The unzipped folder contains the XML file with .xml extension.

Note:
If you are working in Adobe Story CC (Classic), you can also save your scripts and reports as PDF, and schedules as CSV. To save, select File > Export As > format.

In April 2018, additional functionality will be added to both versions of Story to facilitate export of your data. Support for bulk data export and data export in PDF (for scripts and reports) and CSV (for schedules) will be provided. If you still have questions, please contact Adobe Customer Support.
